Louis Vuitton Speedy
The Speedy is Louis Vuitton's original city bag: a soft-sided, zip-top duffle shape numbered by its base width in centimetres. The classic Speedy is a handheld; the Bandoulière adds a removable, adjustable strap and a distinct D-ring construction, and commands a premium on the Australian secondary market because it can be worn crossbody. Vachetta handles and trim are the condition story here — expect patina, and check for cracking at the handle roll and darkening around the piping.

- Monogram placement should be symmetrical across the base seam, and the LV should never be cut off at the centre front on canonical placements.
- Date code format must match the manufacturing era; pieces from 2021 onward carry an embedded microchip instead.
