Bottega Veneta's value in the Australian secondary market rests on Intrecciato weave quality and leather condition rather than logos. Woven nappa is soft and can loosen at the corners if a bag has been overfilled; the Cassette and Jodie lines use a heavier, padded weave that holds up better. We photograph the weave closely on every piece because that is where condition is genuinely visible.
